How do I add tax rates to products or services?

We give you two out-of-the-box tax rates: Products and Services. Both can be configured to your local tax rates. You can also create your own tax rates.

To configure tax rates:

  1. Log in to Wodify Admin
  2. Click on Financial > Settings > Invoice Configuration tab > Scroll down to view 'Tax Rate'
  3. Update rates, as a percentage, for Services/Memberships, Products or click 'Add Tax Rate' to an entirely new category
  4. Click the check-mark to save


To update existing tax rates

  1. Log in to Wodify Admin
  2. Click on Financial > Settings > Invoice Configuration tab > Scroll down to view 'Tax Rate'
  3. Update rates, as a percentage, for Services/Memberships or Products
  4. Click Save
  5. If you change your Services/Memberships tax rate you will receive a prompt with 2 options:
    • All existing and new Membership Templates, Memberships and UNPAID invoices
      • Choosing this option will update all existing Membership Templates, existing Memberships, and existing unpaid invoices to your new tax rate
    • Only new Memberships and invoices; Membership Templates will use the updated tax rate
      • Only new memberships and invoices will use the new tax rate. Membership Templates are ALWAYS updated with tax rates
  6. Click Save

 

IMPORTANT!!:  Any changes to Tax Rates that are currently applied to Unpaid non-membership invoices will automatically be updated to your new rate.
