In Wodify, we offer the ability to give a client discounts on purchases or invoices! This article will walk you through how to add a discount on an individual item for a client and how to apply a discount to an invoice as a whole!

In this article, we'll cover:

• Line Discount for Individual Items
• Header Discount for Overall Invoices

Line Discount

These are discounts applied to invoice line items. Line Discounts can be applied as a dollar amount or percentage.

To apply a line discount:

1. Open the Invoice you wish to discount
2. Click on Product Name 
   
   
   
   
3. Input a Percentage Discount or Discount Amount
   
   
4. Click Save

Header Discount

These are discounts applied AFTER line discounts. For example, if a $100 line item has a Line Discount of $10 and then a Header Discount of 10% applied to it, the final charge of the invoice is $81.

To apply a header discount:

1. Open the Invoice you wish to discount
2. Click Actions > Apply Discount
   
   
   
3. Input a Percentage Discount or Discount Amount
   
   
   
4. Click Save Discount
