How do I set classes to auto-cancel?


Each recurring class, as well as individual classes, can be set to automatically cancel if there are zero reservations after the reservation window closes. 

A common use for this feature is alerting coaches of early morning classes that no one has made a reservation and that the class is canceled the night before the class.

To determine the reservation window for a recurring class/individual class:

  1. Go to Classes > List in your Wodify Core admin portal
  2. Select 'Classes' (for a specific class) or 'Recurring' (for all instances of a recurring class) at the top of the page
  3. Click on the name of the Recurring Class / Individual Class to edit it
  4. Change the 'Reservations close....' value to the desired time before class you wish to stop accepting reservations.
  5. Click 'Save'

*Note: A class must have a Class Limit set in order to allow reservations and set a time for them to close

To set the class to auto-cancel when there are no reservations:

  1. Open the Recurring Class / Individual Class
  2. Under Reservations, toggle the 'Auto-cancel classes with no reservations' switch to on (purple)
  3. Use 'Cancel....prior to start time' to determine when the auto-cancellation should take effect
  4. Click 'Save' at the bottom of the page




  • Email notifications are immediately sent to all admins, managers, and assigned coaches once the class is canceled.
    • These emails can be disabled under Communication > Settings > Automated Emails> Classes
  • The calendar will reflect that the class has been canceled and reservations are no longer accepted.

If you want to set all classes to auto-cancel if there are no reservations, you can toggle this same switch under the Basic Details of Classes > Settings > Schedule


To reinstate a class that has been auto-canceled:

  1. Go to Classes > List in your Wodify Core admin portal
  2. Click on the name of the canceled class to edit it (canceled classes will appear crossed out)
  3. Click the 'Actions' button in the top right corner and select 'Reinstate this Class'
