Workout Components that track results, whether they're Global or Custom components, can be edited even after a client has signed in and submitted results for that workout.

This ensures that the results of a client earlier in the day, can be compared to another client who performs the updated Workout during a different class later on.

In this article, you will find instructions and some best practices when making changes to a workout that has sign in's and scores attached.

Editing a component with scores:

Sometimes, you may want to make changes to how a specific component is being scored. If a client has already submitted results against a component, it is good to note that these results will be edited within the coachboard and leaderboard as well.

This can vary depending on the type of scoring being used in the component. Some examples include:

  • Rounds > Checkmark: If a score was submitted, the checkmark will automatically be applied.
  • Reps > Rounds: The number of reps will become the number of rounds.
  • No Measure > Weight: The score will be blank, allowing the client to go back and submit a result.

Note: For a full breakdown on how each component will adjust to changes, you can check out our guide here

When any of these adjustments are made, a comment will appear within the clients results to indicate that this has been updated. This will show the previous score that was submitted, and explain what changes were made within the workout.

TIP!: As a best practice, make sure you double-check your Workout after you create it to make sure it is correct.

Deleting a component with scores:

It is now possible to completely remove a component from your workout once scores are submitted against it.

When doing so, you will be prompted to confirm the component deletion. Once this is confirmed, any submitted results will be deleted from Wodify.

Note: If the component already has scores against it, you will be sent a .csv file with the results history for your clients records. These can be entered into their Wodify results if desired using these instructions.
