Why This Matters

Clients can add a new default payment method to their account profile or update an existing payment method. If you are a Wodify admin looking to update your Wodify Subscription Payment Method, please follow these steps.

Step-By-Step How To Add a New Payment Method in Mobile App

Once in the app:

  1. Navigate to the hamburger menu in the top left corner of the screen 
  2. Select Settings 
  3. Scroll down to Account and select Payment Methods 
  4. Click Add a Payment Method
  5. Select Bank or Card 
  6. If adding a card:
    • Enter the card number, expiration date, CVC number, and billing address
    • Click Save
  7. If adding a bank account:
    • Choose between Checking and Savings
    • Enter Bank Name, Account Number, Routing Number, and Billing Address
    • Click Save
    • If you cannot use your bank login to automatically verify with Stripe, select Enter bank details manually instead. You'll be prompted to enter your routing and account numbers.
    • Wait 1-2 business days for a single micro deposit to appear on your bank statement. This will contain a code to be entered for verification.
    • If this attempt fails, then two microdeposits will appear, and you will enter the values of these two microdeposits. 
    • Once you have the microdeposits, click Verify once to start the process
    • Enter in exact microdeposits and click Verify once; clicking Verify more than once may delay your verification process

Step-By-Step How To Add a New Payment Method in Client Web Portal

Once in the portal:

  1. Navigate to the Profile Icon in the top right corner
  2. Select My Profile
  3. Account Tab > Add Payment Method
  4. Select Credit Card or Bank Account 
  5. Update Billing Address > Add financial details
  6. Click Save

    *If you are adding a bank account, same logic applies as adding in mobile app.

FAQs

  1. Can I update my existing payment method instead of adding a new one?
    No. For security and legal reasons, Wodify does not store your payment information directly. You cannot edit an existing payment method, but you can add a new one and then delete the old one after setting the new one as your default.
  2. How do I remove an old payment method from my Wodify account?
    To remove an old payment method, you’ll first need to add a new default payment method to your account. Once a new default is set, you can delete any non-default payment methods. If you’d like all payment methods removed, please contact your business or gym directly, as Wodify cannot remove payment information on your behalf.
  3. How do I make sure my new payment method is being used for future payments?
    After adding your new card or bank account, set it as your Default Payment Method. This ensures it will be used for all future payments and transactions.
