Why This Matters

Wodify includes a full library of workout components — but what about the movements or workouts your community loves that aren’t listed? That’s where Custom Components come in. Create your own moves and workouts so clients can score them, save them, and track their progress over time.

Pre-requisite Pro-Tip

You will need the Wodify Perform add-on to build workouts and create custom components.

Step-By-Step How To Create from the Library

1. Go to Perform > Library > Create Component
2. Name your component
3. Add a description for your component
4. Add a video if preferred
5. Choose your scoring method
   1. AMRAP - Rep, Round, Rep & Rounds
   2. Calories
   3. Checkmark
   4. Distance
   5. No Measure
   6. Sets & Max Reps
   7. Time
   8. Weight
   9. Weightlifting Total
6. Click Save
7. You can now find this component by searching the library when building a workout

Step-by-Step How To Create from the Workout Builder

1. Once inside the Workout builder 
2. Scroll down on the left side and click + Add New Component to Library 
3. Follow steps 2-6 from above

FAQs

1. Can custom components be deleted? Answer: Yes! Locate the custom component in your library, click into it, and choose delete. 
2. If I delete a custom component does it affect my clients? Answer: Deleting a custom component will remove it from your clients' performance history.
3. Components that I add to my library, are they visible for other Wodify businesses? Answer: Nope! Your custom components are only specific to your business. 
4. Does custom components carry over to merged accounts? Answer: A client can see their performance history, but if the business with custom components becomes inactive, the client will no longer have access to that performance data, since custom components are business-specific.
