Our Custom Branding feature lets you customize the Wodify Mobile app to match your business' branding. You can customize the color scheme, header image, and more.

Note: This feature will be included as a part of the Promote tier but can be purchased as an add-on on other pricing tiers.

Customizing Loading Screen and Header

To upload images, like your business’s logo, to replace the default Loading Screen and Header images:

1. Go to Digital Presence > Custom Branding
2. Scroll down to Wodify App Loading Screen section
3. Select Custom Image from the dropdown menu for either the Loading Screen, the Header, or both. 
4. Select the image you wish to upload
5. Click Save

To change the default background color of your business's Header and Loading Screen:

1. Go to Digital Presence > Custom Branding
2. Select color by typing in the exact hex code of the color of your choosing

3. Click Save 

Customizing Primary Color For Light Mode and Dark Mode 

To update the primary App color for Light Mode and Dark Mode:

1. Go to Digital Presence > Custom Branding
2. Select color by typing in the exact hex code of the color of your choosing

3. Click Save 

Note: You can click Preview Loading Screen or Preview App Customization to see how the customization will look on your app's loading screen or in-app. Once the Save button is clicked, clients will be able to see the changes in real-time. 

Additional Customization

The Workout (Wodify Perform only) icon, the app background color, and the button/link color also can be customized.

To change any of these settings:

1. Go to Digital Presence > Custom Branding
2. Choose a Workout icon.
3. Click Save
   
   

Best Practices

Loading Screen:

1. Custom Image
   • We recommend an image that matches the general proportions of a phone (taller than it is wide) so that the image fills up a majority of the screen.
2. Background Color
   • If your Loading Screen Image is not a .png file with a transparent background, we recommend that you match the color with the outer border of the image to make the loading screen feel cohesive.
   • You can do this by figuring out the hex color of your image using a tool like this Chrome extension. Then, use that hex number for the Loading Screen Background Color.

Header:  

1. Custom Image
   • We recommend rectangular images that are square or banner-shaped (wider than they are tall).
   • We recommend that you use an image with a height of at least 80 pixels so that it fills the height of the header.
2. Header Background Color
   • if your Header Image is not a .png file with a transparent background, we recommend that you match the color with the outer border of the image to make the header feel cohesive.
   • You can do this by figuring out the hex color of your image using a tool like this Chrome extension. Then, use that hex number for the Header Background Color.

Primary Color/ Light and Dark Mode:

1. Contrast is Key

   • Ensure that there's enough contrast between the foreground (text) and background. Tools like the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) contrast checker can help.

2. Avoid Pure Black or White

   • For dark mode, rather than using pure black, opt for a dark gray. Similarly, for light mode, instead of pure white, consider a very light gray. This reduces eye strain.
     

Note: This feature will only affect clients on the Wodify Mobile app. This will not make any changes to the Wodify Legacy (black and red) app. To promote your branding, we recommend that you ask your clients to switch to the Wodify Mobile app today!
