Check your Internet Speed

Before continuing with installation please verify that your internet will support high-speed video streaming. 

  1. To make sure your Internet/wifi speed is fast enough, go here and click the blue Run Speed Test button. techfaq_3.png
  2. Once the test is complete, you will see two numbers like the ones below. 
    • The left number should be at least 150mbps, or you may experience slowness. 
    • If the left number is below 50, you will very likely experience connectivity issues. 

Tips for Improving Slow Speeds:

  1. Typically download speed can be increased by contacting your internet provider and asking for a plan upgrade.
  2. If you have an Internet dead spot or bad connection (i.e. brick walls, a large gym, etc.), you may want to try using Eero to increase your wifi coverage 

 

How to Choose the Correct Hardware Configuration:
