Selling stored credit has never been easier! With Wodify, you're able to manage store credit in both Core and the Point of Sale interface.  

In this article, we will cover:

Note: In both the Client Profile and the Point of Sale system, Store Credit can only be applied to invoices being paid manually; it can not be applied to auto-billed invoices at this time.

 

Managing Store Credit within a Client's Profile 

You are able to sell and use store credit directly within a client's profile. 

To sell store credit directly in the client's profile:

  1. Go to People > Clients
  2. Click into the specific Client Name
  3. In the Membership & Payments tab > click Store Credit Balance


  4. Select Purchase Store Credit
    • Credit Amount: enter the amount
    • Choose Payment Method: Select the appropriate payment method
  5. Click Complete Payment


You'll then see that the store credit was automatically applied to the client's Store credit balance and the invoice is in the Paid tab. 

 

To use store credit directly in the client's profile:

  1. Go to People > Clients
  2. Click into the specific Client Name
  3. In the Membership & Payments tab, click on the Invoice #
  4. Click Actions > Pay Invoice
  5. Use Store Credit?
    • On:  will apply the available balance to invoice
    • Off: will not use the store credit balance, therefore you will need to select another payment method.
  6. Click Complete Payment
    • If the Store Credit balance does not cover the entire invoice, you will be prompted to select or enter another payment method to pay the remaining invoice balance




 

Managing Store Credit through the Point of Sale (POS)

You can use the POS to sell and use store credit. 

To sell store credit through the POS:

  1. From the POS interface > click Custom Sale
  2. Add the following details:
    • Product Name: (required) type Store Credit or anything you can identify
    • Product Type: (required) select Store Credit
    • Revenue Category: (required) select Store Credit
    • Tax Rate: (optional) select a tax rate
    • Price: (required) enter the amount of store credit
    • Discount: (optional) add a flat or percentage rate discount
    • Quantity: (required) 1 or more 
  3. Click Add to Cart

  4. Click Checkout 
  5. Choose a Member: search for client name
  6. Choose the payment method
  7. Click Pay Now

To use store credit through the POS:

  1. From the POS Interface > click on the Product Name
  2. If required, select the Option and Quantity 
  3. Click Add to Cart

  4. Click Checkout
  5. Choose a Member: search for client name
  6. Choose the payment method: select Store Credit balance
  7. Click Pay Now
