Self-Service Point of Sale

With Wodify Promote, you can use the Self-Service Point of Sale feature to set up a kiosk where clients can check out and pay for retail items themself, rather than needing a coach or staff member to check them out. Self-Service Point of Sale requires your admin password to return to the admin side of Wodify Core.

Entering and Exiting Self-Service Point of Sale Mode

To enter Self-Service POS:

  1. Click on the 9-Widget Tile icon in the bottom left of your Wodify admin screen
  2. From the Point of Sale screen, click Self Service

This should bring you to the Self-Service Point of Sale screen:


To exit Self-Service POS

  1. From the screen pictured above, select Leave Self Service Checkout
  2. Select the Admin, Manager, or Coach from the dropdown menu, and enter the password for that account

This should bring you back to the regular POS screen, and you can click Back to Wodify Admin from there to return to the admin side


How Clients use Self-Service POS

When you enter Self-Service POS mode, clients will have two options for checkout

I am a Member:

This option is for any client that has an active Client profile in Wodify with your business; not necessarily if they have an active membership

  1. Select any items to purchase
  2. Click into Cart on the left-hand menu to review and check out
  3. Enter any Promo Codes if applicable
  4. Click the Checkout button when ready to pay
  5. Start entering your name (as it appears in Wodify) until it auto-populates below, then click on your name
  6. Choose your payment method from the available list
  7. Click Next in the top right corner
  8. If you have already set up a PIN in your Wodify account, you will be prompted to enter it to complete the purchase
    • If you have not set up a PIN, you'll be prompted to set one now, and will need to enter your password to confirm
    • See Creating or Editing a PIN below
  9. Once you click Pay Now, you will receive a confirmation message that your purchase was successful, as well as an emailed receipt for the purchase.
  10. You will have the option to continue shopping, which will time you out automatically after a few seconds if you don't select it.

I am a Guest:

This option is for any client that doesn't currently have an active Wodify profile with your business

  1. Follow steps 1-4 above
  2. Once you click Checkout, you'll be prompted to enter your name and email address to receive a receipt (this is optional)
  3. Select New Credit Card
  4. Enter your Credit Card details
  5. Click Pay Now when ready to complete your purchase


Creating or Editing a PIN for Self-Service POS

Clients can create a PIN through their account before using Self-Service POS, to make checking out even quicker and authorize the payment to one of their stored payment methods

  • As detailed above, clients will be prompted to set up this PIN on the checkout screen if they use Self-Service POS before setting it up

From the Desktop:

  1. Go to My Profile
  2. Above the profile picture, click Create PIN
    • If you've already set a PIN, click Change PIN
  3. Enter your new PIN
  4. Click Save

From the Client App:

  1. Go to the Profile tab
  2. Select Edit Settings at the top of this page
  3. Under Security, select a PIN
  4. Enter your new PIN
  5. Enter your password to confirm
  6. Select Update
