To help automate your cancellation process, Admins and Managers can turn off a membership's auto-renewal and (optionally) deactivate a client's profile at the same time. This article will walk you through the steps to turning off auto-renew on a membership and setting up a future deactivation for your client.
In this article, we will cover:
Disabling a Membership's Auto-Renewal
You are able to disable a membership's auto-renewal as soon as a client lets you know. This will cut down on the post-it note/calendar reminders!
To disable the membership auto-renewal:
- Go to Wodify Admin > People > Clients
- Select the Client Name
- On the Membership & Payments tab > within the Membership(s) section
- Click on the active membership
- Click on the Actions drop-down menu > Click Stop Auto-Renew
- Click Save
Scheduling the Deactivation of a Client Profile
When you are stopping the membership auto-renewal, you can also set the client's profile to be deactivated. This will remove the client's access at midnight.
To schedule the deactivation date for a client:
- Go to Wodify Admin > People > Clients
- Select the Client Name
- On the Membership & Payments tab > within the Membership(s) section
- Click on the active membership
- Click on the Deactivate button
- Click Deactivate
Note: If the stop auto-renewal date is edited, the deactivation date will automatically adjust to the new date.
