Why This Matters
The following article explains how to create limited-attendance plans, how Wodify records attendance, how Wodify tracks each Client's attendance against their membership, and how to instantly display the number of classes remaining for the Client upon sign-in and reservation.
In this article, we will cover:
- Class Plans and Clients
- Recording Attendance
- Limited-Attendance Class Plans and Messages
Pre-requisite Pro-Tip
Before adding a Limited-Attendance Class Plan to one of your Clients, you must first create your class plan via our Creating a New Membership Template article. Once you've created your Class Plan, you can add the membership to your clients via our Adding a Membership to a Client Profile article.
Recording Attendance
- Once the membership is added to the Client, each sign-in the Client makes will automatically be recorded. This includes sign-ins from Kiosk+, Simple Sign-In, their browser, or from a mobile device.
- The Client must sign in to the class in order to track their attendance.
NOTE: You can retroactively sign Clients into a class using Kiosk+ or Simple Sign-In by navigating the date and time of the class and searching for the client.
Limited-Attendance Class Plans and Messages
You can choose to display both the number of classes attended and the number of classes left to a Client upon sign-in. The messages are displayed when the Client signs in via Kiosk+, Simple Sign-In, a browser, or a mobile device. To turn this option on, follow the steps in this Membership Enforcement article.
There are three options to choose from in the Limited-Attendance Class Plan dropdown:
- Allow sign-ins without warnings: clients will never see a message that displays their classes attended and available when signing in.
-
Allow sign-ins but display warnings: client will see a message that says CLIENT NAME: You have attended X classes this Y"
When the client reaches their limit, the system will not prevent them from signing into more classes.
-
Prevent Sign-Ins: a message is displayed and the client is prevented from signing into class.
FAQs
- Where can I see how many sign in's a client has on their limited membership?
You can view how many sign ins a client has by navigating to their client profile and locating their membership. Under attendance limitation you will see how many sessions they are allowed and how many they have used.
2. Can I change the attendance limits for a membership that is already active?
No, membership attendance limits cannot be retroactively changed on a membership that is active. If a membership has not started yet AND does not have a paid invoice attached to it, you can edit the details until the start date or until a payment has been made.
