FAQs
- If my default bill date is the first, fifteenth, or last day of the month, can I create a monthly-billing membership that won't ever pro-rate? No, this can only be done on memberships that bill on a weekly basis.
- Why do some businesses prefer one billing default over the other? Primarily it depends on how you want the majority of your cash flow to go. If you want the majority of your membership billing to happen on a single day each month, then go with first, fifteenth, or last. If you'd prefer a steady flow of revenue, then pick membership start day instead.
- What if I set my client's membership start date to the first of the month every time? Won't that prevent proration? Technically, yes. However, you'll need to figure out how the client will sign in to classes between now and the first of the month, since their membership isn't starting yet.
