How to Enable or Disable Calendar Emails for Drop-ins, Free Intros, and Free Trials

  1. In Wodify Core, navigate to Communication.

  2. Select Settings.

  3. Scroll down to the Calendar Events section.

  4. Toggle ON to enable .ics calendar emails for Drop-ins, Free Intros, and Free Trials.

  5. Toggle OFF to disable them.

Note:
This setting is ON by default. Only Admins and Managers have permission to adjust it.

 

Below is an example of what the .ics email looks like for leads or Drop-ins so they can quickly add their reservation to their calendar:

 

This email is sent in addition to the standard Sales Page confirmation email received after booking.

Do my leads receive both the confirmation email and the .ics calendar email?
Yes. The calendar event email is supplemental and ensures your Drop-ins, Free Intros, and Free Trials can easily add their reservation to their device calendar.

 

What calendar providers are supported?
Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, and Apple Calendar support the .ics format, allowing users to add events with one click.

 

Can staff members customize the contents of the .ics email?
No. At this time, the .ics message format is standardized to ensure compatibility across all major calendar providers.
