Creating One-Time Events

You can utilize Flexible Drop-In Pricing to create one-time events in Wodify. This allows you to set up custom events like Seminars, Community Workouts, and even parties with custom pricing or no charge for the drop-in.

 

This article walks through how to set up an event in Wodify using this feature, as well as some best practices and examples as to how this can benefit your business and overall engagement.

 

Setting Up Your Event

A few steps need to be taken to create your event in Wodify and ensure that clients can easily register. This is broken down into the following:

  1. Program Access
  2. Creating the Class & Setting a Price
  3. Creating a Waiver & Questionnaire

 

Program Access

When setting up your event, we recommend setting up a brand new program in Classes > Programs for events, to avoid affecting your regular class schedule and memberships.

Note: You can add or remove the class program from memberships at any time by using our Mass Update Tool, if you want to allow your current members to attend without having to pay. 

 

Creating the Class & Setting a Price

After your program is created, you will want to Create your Class (or event) using Classes > Calendar > + Class. This is where you will be able to name your event, set the time, attendance limits, etc. Just as you would any other class in Wodify! 

When creating the session, you can apply any attendance fees under the Drop-In Pricing section. 

  • If this is a public event, you will want to toggle on the Allow Drop-In option under Online Sales.
  • Otherwise, you can also offer private registration by using your Membership Sales Permalinks and QR Codes!

 

Creating a Waiver & Questionnaire

Attaching a waiver to this program will allow you to collect info for any participants, and easily create lead profiles for any attendees as well. 

When Creating a Waiver, these are applied to specific Programs in your account. Since we already created a new Program for the event, you can assign a specific set of terms or questions to the registration. Any attendees will be prompted to fill this out at sign-up!
