People are naturally competitive creatures and love the gratification of accomplishing small goals. Think back to any streak you've ever been a part of; a Duolingo learning streak or a Snapchat streak with a best friend. You probably were locked in on keeping the steak alive, even if you had a rough day or life got busy. This is why we introduced Weekly Streaks.
We want to help the Wodify community lock into their fitness goals and help our businesses create an engaged and highly motivated group of members.
Our top businesses plan to use this tool to introduce a new way to track progress for long-time members, get new members to commit to their fitness journeys, and create fun competitions in their community. Read below to see how they plan to use the feature to its full potential.
How Weekly Streaks Work:
At the top of your Wodify app, you will see a tracker for your current streak. Weeks in Wodify are defined on a Monday-Sunday basis. The calendar resets every Sunday night, so starting Monday, you'll be able to view and sign into future classes and appointments.
- By default, each day is represented by a grey circle.
- The current day on the streak calendar is marked by an underline.
- Once you make a reservation for a class or appointment, you will see a dotted circle appear around the date of the class.
- After you're signed in, there will be a filled in circle to show you attended. This is what will kick off your weekly streak!
- Signing in to one class or appointment a week from Monday-Sunday will add onto your streak each week. You will see a fire emoji with your current streak length!
- You can also hit the arrow icon to the right to see a 30-day view of your streak calendar.
Some Streak Specifics:
- Forgot to sign-in? That’s okay! If you sign in for a class or appointment after the fact or with the help of an Admin, your streak will automatically adjust for the correct amount of time.
- Weekly Streaks are tracked per business. If you are a member at multiple Wodify powered locations, you will have separate weekly streaks!
Step-By-Step How To Share to Socials:
You can easily share your weekly streak to social media to celebrate your progress. You’ve earned it! After opening the Wodify app on your device, you can:
- Tap into your current week streak
- Select the share icon in the top right corner
- From here, you can save the image or share it directly to social media!
Step-By-Step How To Disable Weekly Streaks at Your Business:
- Go to Account > Global Settings
- Scroll down to the Weekly Streaks section
- Turn the toggle to Off. This will turn off weekly streaks for all clients and remove weekly streaks from the mobile app and the client's profile. There is no functionality to turn off weekly streaks for individual members at this time.
- Click Save at the bottom of the screen

Engage your Community:
- Members will have the ability to share a streak on their social accounts. Repost their stories with encouraging messages, especially with new members or members who have struggled to come into your business recently.
- Congratulate members for hitting milestone streaks with a post in your community Facebook group or your Instagram story.
New Members:
- Create content that highlights your business as an accountability tool that will encourage people to lock into their fitness journeys.
- Example 1: Waking up for a 6 AM class before work isn't easy. That's why CrossFit Philadelphia has a built-in accountability tool. Our Weekly Streaks tracker will allow you to lock in and our members and coaches will make sure you don't drop the streak.
- Example 2: Mastering Jiu-Jitsu techniques takes time. If you've tried other schools and haven't been able to commit, it's time to try something new. With Philadelphia Jiu Jitsu's Weekly Streak tool, you can hold yourself accountable for showing up to class every week and improving your techniques each time.
- Run a promotion that grants new members 25% off their next month once they hit a certain streak. This will ensure that new members boost their attendance early on in their membership period which will increase the likelihood they will remain a member of your business.
Utilize Internal Wodify Reporting
Our team also built some great internal reporting so that you can stay on top of your members' weekly streaks. Here are some ways to use our Weekly Attendance Streaks report:
- Determine if a client is above or below your business's weekly streak average; this can help sort out who your top attending members are and who you may want to reach out to.
- If you want to reward members for hitting a certain streak, you can look at your business's Average Highest Weekly Streak number to see what a good threshold for rewards could be.
- See individual members' highest weekly streaks and challenge them to keep showing up to beat their record.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What if I’ve been a member for a long time? Will my past streaks count?
Long-time users’ weekly streaks will include all historical attendance, separated per location. You don’t need to do anything—your streak should already reflect past attendance.
Can I customize the weekly calendar to a different day range (e.g., Sunday to Saturday)?
Not at this time. The weekly calendar is currently set to Monday to Sunday, and customization isn't available.
What happens if I miss a week or cancel a sign-in?
- If you don’t sign into any class or appointment for a full week (Monday-Sunday), your streak will break.
- If you cancel a sign-in retroactively, your streak will be recalculated, and you’ll lose that week’s streak if it was your only sign-in.
Can I view my streak history or past attendance?
You can view you past attendances by accessing the Burger Menu > Attendances, to see all-time class attendance.
Does my streak apply across multiple locations at the same business?
Yes, your weekly streak will count regardless of which location you attend at the same business.
Can I turn this feature off?
Yes, please see the steps in the section above.
What if I have my membership on hold?
Weekly streaks are strictly based on Attendance - any lack of attendance in the subsequent week will lead to a loss of streak.
What if I encounter issues with my streak not showing up correctly?
If your streak isn’t reflected correctly, please ensure:
- All your sign-ins and reservations are accurately logged.
- If you’ve retroactively signed in, the system should recalculate your streak.
