Why This Matters

The Coach Bio Integration for Wodify Sites ensures that your coach bios stay up-to-date across all Wodify platforms, including the Wodify mobile app, Online Sales Portal, and your website. With this integration, you can update coach information across all platforms in one place.


How it Works

We use an integration to send your coaches’ names, profile pictures, titles, and bios from Wodify Core to your website. Once the integration is connected by our team, any changes made to coach bios in Core will be sent to the website, where you can launch your updated coach bios with the click of a button.


Step-by-Step How to: Add, Update, or Remove Coaches

All coach information — names, bios, titles, and profile pictures — is managed in Wodify Core. Follow these instructions to add, update, or remove coaches in Core. Once your changes are saved in Core, they’ll flow to your website through the integration.

Tip: Double-check your coaches’ profile pictures to make sure they’re okay to show on the website (be aware of any personal photos, dogs, children, etc.) — we recommend using high-quality headshots if available.

If your site isn’t already set up with the Coach Bio Integration, contact support@wodify.com to request it. The Wodify Sites team will make the connection on your website and create corresponding landing pages and widgets.

 

Step-by-Step How to: Make Updates Reflect Immediately on Your Site

Any updates made to your coaches’ profile pictures, names, titles, or bios in Wodify Core will be reflected on your website automatically, but those changes will not be published immediately (it may take up to 24 hours to sync on its own).

Once you’ve made changes in Core, follow the steps below to reflect those changes on your website immediately:

  1. Navigate to the site editor (Web & Mobile > Websites > Open Website Editor).
  2. Check the pages with coach bio information to see if the updates have been reflected. Toggle between pages using the page menu dropdown in the top left of the editor.
  3. If you see the updates on the website, click Republish.
  4. If you do not immediately see the changes you made in Core reflected in the site editor, click CMS > Collections > Coach Bios in the site editor navigation.
  5. Click Refresh Data in the bottom right corner.
  6. Then click Republish to send the updates live on your website.

 

Step-by-Step How to: Show, Hide, or Reorder Coaches on Your Site

In addition to managing coach bios through your Core integration, you can control which coaches are displayed on your website and Online Sales Portal (OSP), and the order they appear in, directly from Wodify Core.

Pro Tip

If your business uses different naming conventions for staff (e.g. Employees, Trainers, Staff), the menu and button labels in this section of Core will reflect that name instead of “Coach.” So your Coach Line Up page may show up as Employee Line Up, Trainer Line Up, or similar. Look for the equivalent terminology if “Coach” doesn’t appear.

  1. In Wodify Core, navigate to Web & Mobile > Online Sales > Settings > Coach Line Up.
  2. From this page, toggle each coach on or off to choose which coaches appear on your website and Online Sales Portal.
  3. To change the order coaches are displayed across your website and OSP, drag and drop coaches into the order you want them to appear.
  4. Changes save automatically and will reflect across your connected platforms shortly after.

  1. I updated a coach’s bio in Core, but it’s still not showing on my website. Answer: Coach bio updates from Core flow to your website automatically, but they’re not published live until you republish your site. If you’ve already republished and the change still isn’t appearing, navigate to CMS > Collections > Coaches/Empolyees (might be named slightly differently) in the site editor and click Refresh Data in the bottom right corner, then click Republish again.
  2. How long does the integration take to set up? Answer: Once you’ve requested the integration via support@wodify.com, the Sites team will set up the integration, build the corresponding landing pages, and configure the widgets on your site. Timelines vary depending on your site’s setup and current request volume — we’ll give you an estimate when you reach out, but it is usually within a few business days.
  3.  Can I disconnect the integration and go back to managing coach bios through an internal collection?Answer: Yes, the Coach Bios integration can be disconnected. Contact support@wodify.com with your request and our Sites team can revert your setup. Note that any coach data added through the integration won’t automatically transfer to an internal collection — we’ll walk you through what to expect during the transition.
