Wodify Sites supports two ways of managing coach bios:
- Internal coach bios — managed directly in your Wodify Site editor’s Coaches/Employees Collection.
- External coach bios (Wodify Core integration) — coach data is pulled from Wodify Core and synced to your site automatically.
- To figure out which one your site uses, navigate to CMS > Collections in the website editor and look at your Coaches/Employees collection:
- If the Coaches/Employees section is labeled Internal (with a table icon), follow the instructions in this article.
- If the Coaches/Employees section is labeled External (with a blue stack icon), see About the Wodify Sites Coach Bio Integration instead.
How to Edit Coach Bios on Your Website
- In the left sidebar of the website editor, click CMS > Collections.
- Click on the Employees collection to edit your coach bios.
Note: Your internal collection may be titled something slightly different like Coaches, Instructors, etc. depending on your setup. - From the collection page, you'll see a table with all of your employee details. You can add new line items to add new employees to your website, delete line items to permanently remove an employee, hide/show employees by clicking on the eyeball icon, or change names, headshots, positions, certifications, and bios for existing employees.
- To edit a specific coach, hover over the row you want to edit and click on the pencil icon to expand the record. Any updates to these fields will be reflected across all connected grids and templated pages on your website. The item ID field should be the name of the coach, oriented in a manner that works for a URL - we recommend copying the format of other records for this field.
- The order of the employees in the collection is the order that they will show up on any connected grids on your website. To edit the order of the employees, simply drag and drop the row in the collection to wherever it needs to be.
- Changes made in the Employee collection will be automatically reflected across your website. To preview the changes made, you can view the dynamic coach bio page, homepage, or any other page in the site editor that includes employee information.
- Click Republish to send your changes live on the website.

FAQs
- "I added a new coach to the Employees collection, but they aren’t showing on my website."
Answer: First, make sure the eyeball icon for that coach is set to visible in the collection. Second, double-check that you’ve clicked Republish after saving. If your site uses the Wodify Core integration for coaches (the blue stack icon in your collections), you’ll need to add and enable the new coach in Core instead.
