Why This Matters

Introduce potential members to your team members before they visit your gym with coach bios on your Wodify Site. 


Pre-Requisite Pro-Tip

Your coach bios may be managed one of two ways on your Wodify Site — through an internal collection that is controlled through the website editor, or through an integration with Wodify Core. To figure out how your coach bios are managed on the website:

  • Navigate to the site editor then click Content then Collections in the left side menu to view your collections.
  • If you see a blue stack icon next to the collection name (like the image on the left below), your coaches are managed through the integration with Wodify Core. Click here to view instructions on how to edit coach bios in Core.

  • If you see a grid icon next to the collection name (like the image on the right), your coach bios are managed through an internal collection on the website. Follow the instructions below to make changes.

How to Edit Coach Bios on Your Website

  1. In the left sidebar of the website editor, click Content > Collections.
  2. Click on the Employees collection to edit your coach bios. 
    Note: Your internal collection may be titled something slightly different like Coaches, Instructors, etc. depending on your setup.
  3. From the collection page, you'll see a table with all of your employee details. You can add new line items to add new employees to your website, delete line items to permanently remove an employee, hide/show employees by clicking on the eyeball icon, or change names, headshots, positions, certifications, and bios for existing employees.
  4. To edit a specific coach, hover over the row you want to edit and click on the pencil icon to expand the record. Any updates to these fields will be reflected across all connected grids and templated pages on your website. The item ID field should be the name of the coach, oriented in a manner that works for a URL - we recommend copying the format of other records for this field.
  5. The order of the employees in the collection is the order that they will show up on any connected grids on your website. To edit the order of the employees, simply drag and drop the row in the collection to wherever it needs to be.
  6. Changes made in the Employee collection will be automatically reflected across your website. To preview the changes made, you can view the dynamic coach bio page, homepage, or any other page in the site editor that includes employee information.
  7. Click Republish to send your changes live on the website.
