Why This Matters
Appointment-based memberships are a great way to allow you to service your clients around more targeted times to fit their schedules instead of classes. This is also a great feature to power wellness-related bookings such as saunas, red-light therapy sessions, stretch sessions, and more!
To be able to sell appointment-based memberships, first, you need to create your service offerings. After a service is created, you may then begin to build different packages for different trainers with different price points.
Pre-requisite Pro-Tip
It is suggested that you choose overarching settings before creating your first service. You can find these by navigating to Appointments > Settings.
Step-By-Step How To
- Go to Appointments > Services
- Click Create Service
- Enter a Service Name
- Pick a Color & Icon to associate with the service
- Add a Description
- Choose your Booking Settings:
- Client limit per session
- Free Intro toggle and the limit
- Enable Self-Sign In on the mobile app and choose when self-sign-in starts and ends
- Booking Window Settings for when bookings Open and Close
- Start Time intervals (in 5-minute intervals)
- Buffer Time to add extra time between booked appointments
- Service Duration (in 15-minute intervals or add your own)
- Location Access & Providers: for multi-location businesses to decide which locations the service is offered and by whom
- Late Cancellation Settings: toggle this on to enable late cancellation time frame and choose between charging the client a fee and/or losing a session from their appointment package
- Emails & Waivers: easily locate automated emails related to appointments & choose default waiver(s) to send when a package associated with said service is purchased
Be sure to click Create Service once you've finished building out your service!
