Waitlist for Classes
When class reservations are full, you may want to consider adding a waitlist to your classes so clients can join and get notified when a spot opens up to optimize the number of class attendees.
When enabled, you can then select how the waitlist functions:
-
All Emailed, First to Reply Gets Added to the Class
- All clients who sign up for a full class are put on a waitlist. If a spot in the class opens, all the clients on the waitlist are notified and the first one to reply gets into the class.
- Clients will be notified via email and a push notification on the Wodify Mobile App
- All clients who sign up for a full class are put on a waitlist. If a spot in the class opens, all the clients on the waitlist are notified and the first one to reply gets into the class.
-
Automatically Added to the Class in the Order They Signed Up
- All clients who sign up for a full class are put on a waitlist in the order they signed up. If a spot in the class opens, the first client on the waitlist is automatically put in the class.

NOTE: Automatically adding a client into a class right before it starts isn’t a great experience and increases no-shows, so during the late cancel window the client (first in line) will not be automatically added to a class. Instead, all clients on the waitlist will be emailed about the last-minute opening and the first to reply get into the class.
To Set your Daily Reservation Limit
- Click Classes > Settings > Memberships > Daily Reservation Limit
- Choose Unlimited (default) or configure a specific number of reservations a client may have in one day for each program and location.
- Click Save
FAQs
- "Will waitlist spots and late cancellations count toward the Daily Reservation Limit?"
Answer: A spot on the waitlist will not unless that client is moved into the class. A late cancellation will apply to this limit.
