Embedding Videos and Images in a Workout

This article will help you embed videos from YouTube and Vimeo and images into your Workout so that clients can view them in-app and at the Kiosk.

 

In this article, we will cover:

How to Embed Images in Workouts

To Embed an Image in your Workout, go to Perform  > Daily Workouts > +Workout, or choose an existing Workout to Edit.

  1. On the right side, click the Image box and drag it into the Workout2022-07-19_18-16-12__1_.gif
  2. Then choose Select Image to upload your picture 2022-07-19_18-20-00.png
  3. After that, you can crop and rotate the image > Save 
  4. Once uploaded, you can add a Comment for you Clients to see > Then Save once more
    • If you ever need to delete your Image, click the Trash Can Icon in the top right

How to Embed Videos in Workouts

To Embed a Video in your Workout, head over to Perform > Daily Workouts > +Workout or choose an existing Workout to Edit .

  1. In the Workout Editor, grab the Video box then drag it into the Workout 
  2. There you can enter the Video URLNote that it can only be a Youtube or Vimeo URL. 
  3. Once added, click Save!
      • You can change the Video URL  by clicking Edit or selecting the Trash Can Icon to delete

Youtube and Vimeo URLs

To copy the URL from YouTube to Wodify, you have two options:

  1. Copy the URL directly from the browser bar
    (e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ruI8t9148uA)

  2. Copy the shortened 'Share' URL from YouTubemceclip0.png

Note: Your YouTube video cannot be set to Private. It must be Unlisted or Public. Here is more info on how to update your video's privacy settings

 

To copy the URL from Vimeo to Wodify, you have two options:

  1. Copy the URL directly from the browser bar
    (e.g. https://vimeo.com/134716774)

  2. Copy the 'Share' link from VimeoVimeo_Link_Share_2.png

Note: Private Vimeo videos are supported, but embedding must be enabled on the video in order for it to appear correctly in Wodify. If you are having trouble embedding your Vimeo video, check to ensure that embedding has not been disabled on the video. You can do this in Settings > General > Privacy.Vimeo_Embed_Settings.png
