Why This Matters
Single Sign-On (SSO) makes it faster and easier for staff to access Wodify by eliminating the need to remember or reset passwords. It reduces login friction for daily users while cutting down on password-related support requests. By leveraging trusted providers like Google and Apple, SSO also strengthens security with built-in authentication protections. Additionally, it simplifies onboarding and offboarding by aligning access with existing workspace management systems.
Pre-requisite Pro-Tip
Note: If your business requires MFA, you may still be prompted for MFA after you sign in with Google/Apple/Email.
This will apply for all clients & staff automatically. There is no need to enable this for your gym.
Your browser must allow:
- Pop-ups (Google/Apple sign-in opens a secure authentication window)
- Third-party cookies (some strict privacy settings can block sign-in)
- For Google/Apple sign-in, your Google/Apple account email must match the email on your Wodify user
- For Email Code sign-in, you must be able to receive emails at your login email address.
Step-By-Step How To
Where to start
- Go to the Wodify sign-in page.
- You’ll see sign-in options like:
- Sign in with Google
- Sign in with Apple
- If you enter your email, you will see an option to use the password ( old way) or send me a code (new SSO!)
Sign in with Google
- On the sign-in page, click Sign in with Google.
- On the pop up Choose your Google account (or sign in to Google if prompted).
- Approve the sign-in prompt.
What happens next:
- If your Google email matches an existing Wodify user, you’ll be signed in.
- If it does not match, you may be prompted to:
- Select the correct account, or
- Contact your admin/support to confirm your Wodify user email.
- If you account requires MFA, you will be prompted to complete MFA
- If you have multiple Google accounts, make sure you choose the one that matches your Wodify email (common issue).
Sign in with Apple
- On the sign-in page, click Sign in with Apple.
- Sign in with your Apple ID as prompted
- Complete the Apple sign-in prompt.
- If you account requires MFA, you will be prompted to complete MFA
What happens next:
- If the Apple email matches an existing Wodify user, you’ll be signed in.
Sign in with Email (Send Me a Code)
Use this if you don’t want a password and prefer a one-time code sent to your inbox.
- On the sign-in page, enter your email -> continue
- Click Email me a code
- Check your inbox for a 6-digit verification code.
- Also check Spam/Junk/Promotions folders.
- Enter the 6-digit code on the verification screen.
- Click Verify to finish signing in.
- If you don’t receive the email after waiting ~30–60 seconds., use Resend code
- If MFA is required for your account, you will not be able to use the SSO via email
Troubleshooting Google & Apple SSO pop-ups (browser privacy settings)
When you click Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple, your browser opens a secure sign-in window (a pop-up) over the web app. If pop-ups, cookies, or strict privacy protections are blocking it, sign-in may fail or appear “stuck.”
If using Google Chrome:
- Settings
- Privacy & Securtiy
- Pop ups and redirects
- Sites can send pop ups and use redirects
- Sites can send pop ups and use redirects
If using Safari:
Allow pop-ups for your site
- Safari → Settings → Websites
- Click Pop-up Windows
- Find
YOUR_APP_DOMAINand set it to Allow.
Ensure cookies aren’t fully blocked
- Safari → Settings → Privacy
- Make sure Block all cookies is OFF.
If the pop-up opens but sign-in won’t complete
Safari’s anti-tracking can sometimes interfere with cross-site sign-in:
- Safari → Settings → Privacy → Prevent cross-site tracking
Temporarily turn it OFF, complete sign-in, then turn it back on.
FAQs
What if I don’t see the "Email Code" option?
- Confirm you have an employee role (Admin/Manager/Coach/Staff). You may have MFA required for your account and therefore are ineligible for SSO via email.
I used Google/Apple but it logged me into the wrong account (or I can’t find my business).
- Most commonly, the email on your Google/Apple account doesn’t match the email on your Wodify user.
- Log out and try again, choosing the correct Google account.
- If you’re unsure which email your Wodify user is under, ask your Admin to confirm/update it.
What if I’m not receiving the email code?
- Check Spam/Junk/Promotions folders.
- Search your inbox for “Wodify” and “verification code”.
- Confirm your mailbox isn’t full and that your email system isn’t quarantining messages.
- If it still doesn’t arrive, ask your Admin to confirm your email on file or contact Support.
