Step-By-Step How To

 

How to access Custom Reporting

  1. Go to Analytics > Reports
  2. Select the Custom Reporting tab
  3. Select Open Custom Reporting
  4. Click on Sign in with SSO

 

Understanding the Custom Reporting Home Page

Custom Reporting will show you a few things on the homepage:

  • Sample Questions to Get Started
    • These are questions curated by our team for your convenience.
  • Your Personal Collection
    • These are your saved questions. This will save reports for your environment, not just per user.  
  • New
    • This is where you can begin building your report. 

 

How to Create a Custom Report

  1. Click New at the top of the screen
  2. Click Question
  3. Click Tables and pick your database
  4. Add a filter of your choosing by selecting Add Filters to narrow your answers
  5. Click Summarize to open the summarizing options

  6. Choose your metric

  7. Select the field you want to group by—such as Client Name—and click Visualize
