Milestones let you gamify, recognize, and reward your clients for showing up and sticking with their fitness journey. Whether it's lifetime attendance, time as a client, or weekly streaks, you can customize Milestones to celebrate the moments that matter most to your community.
Once active, Milestones are tracked automatically. Clients earn badges as they hit each threshold, and your coaches and community can see and celebrate those wins across Wodify Core, Coach View, and the Wodify App.
Where to find it: In Wodify Core, go to People > Achievements and select the Milestones tab.
Pre-requisite Pro-Tip
Milestones are only as accurate as your sign-ins. Attendance and Weekly Streak milestones count client sign-ins, and Sessions Coached milestones count coach sign-ins, so make sure clients and coaches are consistently signed in to classes.
If you plan to limit a Client For milestone to specific groups of clients, set up those client segments first so you can select them as eligibility criteria.

Step-By-Step How To
I want to celebrate clients for their lifetime attendance. I create a Total Attendances milestone group that counts sign-ins to all of my class programs, then add milestones at 100, 250, and 500 sign-ins.
Start from a Milestone Template (optional)
Every account comes with a few pre-built milestone group templates enabled by default. To browse additional templates you can customize for your clients:
- In Wodify Core, navigate to People > Achievements and select the Milestones tab.
- Click the Milestone Templates button in the top right corner.
- Choose a template and adjust it to fit your gym.
Create a Milestone Group
- Go to People > Achievements > Milestones.
- Start from a Milestone Template, or create a new group from scratch.
- Complete the required fields:
- Name: Visible to employees and clients throughout Wodify, so choose something clients will recognize and enjoy.
- Description: Visible only to employees on the Milestones list view. Use it for internal notes about the group's purpose.
- Definition for Achievement: Determines what is counted toward earning a milestone (see table below).
- Eligibility Criteria: Narrows who can earn milestones in this group. The options depend on the Definition for Achievement.
- Visibility: Determines who can see that someone earned a milestone (see table below).

Create Milestones
Milestones are the badges clients earn inside a group. For example, a Total Attendances group might include milestones for 100, 200, and 500 sign-ins.
- Click the name of a Milestone Group to open the Manage Milestones side panel.
- Click Create Milestone, or click the ellipsis (...) on an existing milestone and select Duplicate to save time.
- Enter a Name, Description, and Rule for Achievement (the threshold, such as 100 sign-ins).
- Choose a visual for the milestone badge.
- Repeat for each threshold you want to celebrate.
Activate and Sync a Milestone Group
- Click the name of the Milestone Group to open the Manage Milestones side panel.
- Toggle the switch in the bottom left corner to Active.
- Click Sync.
Note: You must sync a milestone group for it to remain active. Syncing calculates who has already earned milestones in the group and tracks future progress for eligible clients. Clients who already meet a threshold will be credited when you sync.
Deactivate a Milestone Group
If you no longer want to recognize a milestone group, you can deactivate it at any time.
- Click the name of the Milestone Group to open the Manage Milestones side panel.
- Toggle the switch in the bottom left corner to Inactive.
- Close the side panel.
Note: Inactive milestone groups stop calculating new milestones and are hidden from coaches and clients everywhere in Wodify. If you reactivate the group, it will resync and recalculate who has earned each milestone based on its eligibility criteria.
Seeing Milestones Throughout Wodify
Active milestones appear in several places, so wins get noticed by coaches and clients alike.
- Client profile and Quick View: All previously earned milestones appear in the Achievements tab of a client's profile and in their Quick View.
- Avatar badges: A badge appears on a client's avatar throughout Core and the Wodify App on the day they earn a milestone and the day after.
- Spotlight: Recently earned milestones are featured in the Spotlight on the homepage dashboard widget, the Wodify App homepage, and class detail pages in the Wodify App.

The Spotlight comes in two versions that show slightly different information.

FAQs
I created a milestone group, but no one has earned anything. What happened?
Make sure the group is toggled to Active and that you clicked Sync. A milestone group must be synced to stay active and to calculate who has already earned its milestones.
Will clients get credit for attendance from before I set up Milestones?
Yes. When you sync a milestone group, Wodify calculates who has already reached each milestone based on the group's eligibility criteria, then tracks future progress.
A client isn't earning milestones I think they should. What should I check?
Confirm the client is being signed in to classes and that those classes fall under the programs or services selected in the group's eligibility criteria. For Client For milestones, confirm the client belongs to the selected segments.
Can I recognize milestones privately so only coaches see them?
Yes. Set the group's Visibility to Coaches in Core Only. Coaches will still see earned milestones in Core and Coach View, but clients won't see them in the Wodify App.
What happens if I deactivate a milestone group and turn it back on later?
While inactive, the group stops calculating new milestones and is hidden everywhere in Wodify. When you reactivate it, Wodify resyncs and recalculates who has earned each milestone.
Can I recognize my coaches too?
Absolutely. Use the Sessions Coached Definition for Achievement to celebrate coaches based on the number of sessions they've coached.
How long does the badge stay on a client's avatar?
Avatar badges display on the day a client earns a milestone and the day after. Earned milestones always remain in the Achievements tab of the client's profile.
