Guided Access (iOS) and Screen Pinning (Android) are features that help you stay focused on a single app by restricting your device to that app. This can be useful for using Wodify's Self-Service Point of Sale (POS) system on a mobile browser, ensuring that customers stay within the Self Service section and not access other parts of the software, nor the device.
In this article, we'll cover:
- Turning on Guided Access for iOS
- Using Guided Access WIth Wodify POS

For Android Users: Enabling Screen Pinning
Android users also have the ability to pin apps and web pages, that way guests handling the device can only use the specific Self Service POS screen. However, since there's multiple tech manufacturers that run Android on devices, they all can have different settings to enable this feature on their devices. Please refer to this official support page from Google on how to access screen pinning on Android devices!
Note: If you forget your Guided Access passcode, you may need to restart your device. On restart, Guided Access will be disabled. The same becomes true if your device becomes unresponsive and you need to restart your device.
