Why This Matters
Once you've assigned providers for an Appointment Service, those providers should be able to set their availability for that service. This is what allows clients to book their own appointments for the service they have an appointment pack for or book a free intro session online.
Step-By-Step How To
Setting Provider Availability
- Head to People > Clients, and click on the provider's name to pull up their profile
- On the client profile, click on the Availability tab

Next, click and drag on the calendar, to create availability for a block of time
- Click 'Create Availability' now if this is one-time availability

Select Repeat to set recurring availability
- Choose your custom repetition period from Repeat Every (day, week, 2 weeks, month, etc.)
- Select Save Changes then Create Availability to add your recurring availability
Blocking Time on a Provider's Availability
Providers' availability for appointment services should be blocked automatically for any classes they are assigned to coach on your schedule, and any busy events on their Google Calendar (if they've integrated their calendar).
To block off any other time manually, you'll follow the same steps outlined for setting Availability above, but select "Blocked Time" instead of "Create Availability":
- Head to People > Clients, and click on the provider's name to pull up their profile
- On the client profile, click on the Availability tab
- Click and drag on the calendar, to cover the times you want to block off
- Select Blocked Time
- Review the details and click Create Blocked Time to save

- "My coach sent me their availability and blocked time. Can I add it on their behalf?"
Answer: Admins and Managers can make changes to another provider's availability and blocked time, while coaches can only adjust their own. - "When booking a client for an appointment, do I need to adjust my schedule first if I want to book them in a time that isn't available?"
Answer: Admins can override any provider's blocked time/availability on the Appointment Calendar, meaning they can still book an appointment for a provider during the blocked time and regardless of their availability. - "I have the same schedule every week? Can I set this to repeat?"
Answer: Availability can be set to repeat while blocked time cannot.
