Remember, we’re not just a tech solution for your gym. We’re a team of real people here to be your operational partners, and help you every step of the way.
Step-By-Step How To
Getting your facility set up is quick and easy! The Wodify team will have you up and running with just three quick steps:
- Your installation process starts by completing THIS FORM. Wodify 24/7 Access integrates with common lock companies, including 33lock, Schlage, Yale, and Lockly. After you submit the form, we will help you select the ideal lock for your facility. If you already have locks installed, contact us to check for available integrations.
- Next, our team will help you set your custom access permissions, for things like 24/7 open gym, class-specific access (e.g. doors open 15 minutes before class), or specific weekday, weekend or holiday access. Here are a few examples:
- Automated Access Control - This feature allows you to grant or remove access based on a client’s membership status. Access is added automatically when members sign up, and revoked in the event that they cancel.
- Zone-Based Access - If your facility has unique areas like staff-only rooms, recovery spaces or specialty-training zones, you can set custom access rules to control who can enter.
- Guest Access - When drop-ins or event attendees visit your gym, you can easily send a temporary access PIN, so they can enter your facility without having to download the app.
-
Lastly, once your hardware and software are set up, you’ll want to ensure your operations and communication are dialed in so everyone on your team and in your community knows what to expect.
Dial In Your Seamless Operations
One of the best benefits of Wodify 24/7 Access is that it’s designed to run seamlessly in your facility’s operations without adding extra work for you or your coaches.
- Ensure Your Legal Bases are Covered
Be sure to consult your lawyer to find out if - or how - adding flexible access requires revisions to your liability waivers and/or membership agreements.
- Outline Your Pricing Structure
The convenience of flexible access is a benefit your clients are willing to pay for. Before you present it as a new option, be sure to determine how you’ll charge clients. Examples of pricing structures include:
Bundling flexible access into premium plans
Charging an add-on price for 24/7 access or extended hours
- Create a Staff Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Manual
Provide staff with clear roles, responsibilities, and policies, such as:
How to grant and remove facility access, based on the custom options you set up
Your facility’s specific rules regarding unattended access (example: max occupancy)
Expected responsibilities (example: not being required to coach if they’re there working out during non-class times)
Clearly Communicate, Upsell and Market
Your members are sure to love the added convenience that comes with flexible facility access, and communication is a key part of your successful launch.
Here are a few suggestions for a comprehensive communication plan:
- Outline all directions, rules and expectations in black and white, leaving no room for grey areas or interpretation.
- Make it easy for clients to understand.
- Add the new offering on your website and Google Business Profile.
- Communicate the rollout in as many ways as possible, including:
- Send email(s) to your community to announce the new access launch and details
- Create an announcement in the Wodify app
- Make a tutorial video - record a short video showing clients how it works

FAQs
Pricing & Support
Is there a contract?
No. 24/7 Access is a month-to-month add-on subscription billed monthly.
What kind of support will I have once I’m live?
You’ll have access to Wodify’s Customer Success team during business hours.
Access Management
Can I control when clients are allowed to access my gym?
Yes. You can fully control access hours to match your preferred rules using Wodify Workflows.
Can I update or change access hours in the future?
Yes. Access hours are easy to update through the Workflow recipe, so you can adjust as your schedule or offerings change.
Can we only allow clients to open the door when they are physically at the business?
Yes. We can enforce a geofence so clients can only open the door from a set distance from your business, usually 1000 ft.
Can the admin remotely open the door from anywhere?
Yes. We can allow groups of staff like all admins, or specific staff members to open the door from anywhere for easy management.
Can I manually create access codes for the door?
Yes. In your specific lock app you’ll be able to create your own access codes. For example, depending on your lock you can create permanent access codes for staff, one-time access codes for visitors, and timebound access codes for events.
Hardware
Can I use the smart lock I already have?
In some cases, yes. Our team will help you confirm whether your current smart lock is compatible.
How much does a smart lock cost?
The recommended smart lock can vary based on your setup. The most commonly recommended option, the 33 Locks IntelliReader, costs $550 USD.
If I have multiple locks, do I need multiple WiFi gateways?
Yes. For best connectivity and performance, you should have one WiFi gateway per lock.
When will I be billed for hardware, and how do I track shipping?
If your recommended lock is the 33 Locks IntelliReader, you’ll be billed once you confirm your order. We’ll ship the device and send tracking details once it’s on the way. If your recommended lock is not the IntelliReader, you’ll purchase it directly using the link we provide.
Installation
How much can I expect installation to cost?
Installation costs depend on your door type and lock configuration. Some setups—such as magnetic locks with door controllers—require running power to the door, which can increase installation costs. We recommend getting quotes from a few local installers before ordering hardware.
Does the lock include a power supply?
No. Your installer can recommend the best power solution for your specific door.
If my door already has power installed from a previous system, can it be reused?
In most cases, yes. If you’re using the same door, existing power can typically support the new setup.
Do you recommend installers or provide part numbers?
No. Every door and location is different. Most gym owners work with a local locksmith or electrician. You can share the IntelliReader installation manual with them so they understand the requirements.
Will switching from another access system cause downtime?
Downtime is optional. You can choose to run both systems in parallel for a short period or do a direct cutover with your installer.
Security & Legal
Do I need to change my existing security systems or processes?
No. 24/7 Access works alongside your current security setup.
Can I see who has entered my gym using 24/7 Access?
Yes. You can view access activity in Automations > Workflow Enrollment > Active Recipes or in the Account Activity Feed.
Do you have a sample client waiver?
Yes. Here is a sample waiver provided by Affiliate Guard.
