Why This Matters
Until now, removing a client from your account meant deactivating them — leaving behind records that could clutter your client list or cause issues when importing new members. With the ability to permanently delete inactive clients, you can keep your account clean, resolve import conflicts, and ensure your data reflects only the clients you actually work with.
📋 Prerequisite: Only inactive clients can be deleted. You must deactivate a client before deleting them. See: Deactivate and Reactivate Clients
Step-by-Step Instructions
Option 1: Via Client List (bulk or individual)
- Navigate to Clients > Client List
- Filter the list to show Inactive clients
- Check the box next to one or more clients you want to delete
- Click Bulk Actions and select Delete
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
Option 2: Via Client Profile
- Navigate to Clients > Client List and open the client's profile
- Click the Actions menu in the top right of the profile
- Select Delete
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
FAQs
"Can I delete an active client?"
No. Clients must be deactivated before they can be deleted. Navigate to the client's profile and deactivate them first, then return to delete.
"Can I recover a deleted client's information later?"
No. Deletion is permanent. Once a client is deleted, their profile and all associated data are removed from Wodify and cannot be recovered. Make sure you no longer need the client's records before deleting.
"I don't see a Delete option — why?"
The Delete option only appears for inactive clients. If the option isn't visible, confirm that the client has been deactivated first. Your admin role may also need the appropriate permissions to delete clients.
