Why This Matters

Your Online Sales Page enables clients to book free trial appointments directly from your availability. This makes it simple to showcase your services and build trust before someone commits to a membership.

 


 

Pre-requisite Pro-Tips

First, you'll want to make sure you've built the appointment service that you're offering to Free Intros. See our Create an Appointment Service article for a walkthrough on setting up your appointment service templates.

You will also want to make sure your coaches have set their availability for any services you're offering a free intro for. Booking availability for free intro appointments will be based on provider availability for the service. See Creating Appointment Provider Availability for a walkthrough on setting availability. 


 

Step-By-Step How To: Set Up Your Intro Service

  1. Navigate to: Appointments > Memberships

  2. Select Free Intro [SYSTEM] to open the template.

  3. Update the following settings:

    • Brief Description: This will show in your Online Sales Page.

    • Number of Sessions: Set how many free sessions are included.

    • Online Sales Confirmation Message: Customize the confirmation page after the lead purchases this membership online.

  4. Click Save to apply your changes.

 

Step-By-Step How To: Enable Online Booking

Once your service and Free Intro template are set up, you can enable it on your Online Sales Page so clients can view availability and book their own Free Intro appointments.

To enable Free Intro services on the Online Sales Page:

  1. Go to Web & Mobile > Online Sales.

  2. Under Appointments, select Free Intro and toggle it On; If you renamed the Free Intro template, it will appear under the new name.

  3. When the popup appears, toggle On the Appointment Services you want to offer as a Free Intro.

  4. Click Save to publish these Free Intro appointments to your Online Sales Page.

 

Once your Free Intro Appointments are enabled on the Online Sales Page, you can copy a direct link to the booking page so clients don’t have to navigate through your full sales page. The Free Intro Appointments must be enabled and saved before the permalink becomes active.

To copy the Free Intro booking permalink:

  1. Go to Web & Mobile > Online Sales.

  2. Under Appointments, click Free Intro.

  3. Select the Copy Permalink icon at the bottom.

    • You can also copy the permalink for an individual service on the right.

  4. The link is now copied and can be added to your website, a button, or an email to send clients directly to the booking page.

 

Step-By-Step How To: Booking a Free Intro

Clients can book Free Intro appointments in two ways; Through your Online Sales Page (if enabled) or by contacting you, allowing you to book the Free Intro for them through the Appointment Calendar.

 

Booking Through the Online Sales Page

  1. When clients open your Free Intro Appointment page, they’ll see a list of available Free Trial Appointment Services.

  2. After selecting a service, they’ll be shown available dates based on the provider’s availability.

  3. Once a date is selected, they’ll see available start times for that service.

  4. After choosing a date and time, clients will enter their email, contact details, complete any required waivers, and confirm their booking.

  5. After the appointment is confirmed: 

    • A new Lead profile is automatically created in Wodify.

    • Admins receive an email notification of the new Lead.

    • The provider receives an email confirming the booking.

    • The client receives a booking confirmation email.

    • The appointment appears in Appointments > Calendar, where it can be edited.

 

Booking Through the Appointment Calendar

You can book both existing clients and new leads into a Free Intro appointment directly through the Appointment Calendar—even if that service is not enabled as a Free Intro on the Online Sales Page. You can also override provider availability when booking this way.

  • Admins can book on any provider’s calendar.

  • Coaches can only book on their own calendar.

  • Clients cannot book directly on the calendar, but all client-booked appointments will appear there.

To book a Free Intro through the Appointment Calendar:

  1. Go to Appointments > Calendar in Wodify Core.

  2. Click the time block where you want to schedule the appointment.

  3. In the popup window, set the appointment details:

    • Choose the service

    • Choose the provider

    • Adjust date/time if needed

    • Start typing the client’s name and select them, or choose Add new lead

  4. If the client does not have a membership for that service, you’ll see a red exclamation point:

    • Click More Options

    • Scroll to the No Active Membership warning

    • Select Book as free intro

    • If adding a new lead, enter their basic info, set their status to Trial, and click Book

  5. Click Book to finalize the appointment.


 

 


 

FAQs

  1. Why can I not see booking times available on my Online Sales Page (OSP) for intros? In order to book online, you will need to have your service providers set up their booking availability first. Once availability is saved on their profiles, leads can book intro sessions.
  2. Why can't I change the name of the Intro? The name of the Free Intro must be changed through the Custom Dictionary via Account > Global Settings.
