Coaching at a gym that runs on Wodify?
This video series walks you through the tools you'll use most as a coach, from setting up your profile to managing classes, signing clients in, and logging results. Each video is about 2-3 minutes long and focuses on one task, so you can learn and master the tools that keep your day running smoothly.
Below is a quick summary of every video in the series. Click through to watch each one or check out the entire playlist on YouTube.
Get started and learn the basics
Updating your coach bio (Wodify Core) Add your title, bio, and social links so leads and clients can get to know you in the mobile app, online sales pages, and your gym's Wodify website. Includes a tip for using AI tools to write a polished bio.
Setting up calendar syncing (Wodify Core) Connect your personal calendar to Wodify so classes and appointments show up on your calendar automatically, and personal events block your appointment availability so clients can't book you when you're busy.
Sending and signing a waiver Every lead, client, and drop-in needs a signed waiver on file. Learn how to have someone sign in person via QR code or public link, send a waiver by email, and resend unsigned waivers.
Using Simple Sign In A streamlined sign-in tool that works great on iPads and desktop. Manage class and appointment sign-ins, configure which programs and services appear, and use kiosk mode to keep client data secure.
Working from the mobile app
Viewing your tasks and schedule Stay on top of tasks assigned to you with push notifications, view task details, leave comments, adjust due dates, and check your upcoming classes and appointments.
Viewing client and lead details Search for anyone at the business and see key info at a glance, like membership status, attendance streaks, past due invoices, and unsigned waivers, then message, email, or call them right from the app.
Class management and sign-ins Sign clients in, add people to class, cancel reservations, mark no-shows, and handle late cancel or no-show penalties, plus sign yourself in as the coach so payroll is tracked accurately.
Viewing the workout and coaching notes Review upcoming workouts and coaching notes ahead of class so you show up prepared, and edit coach notes on the fly for coaches teaching later in the day.
Viewing client performance and logging results, viewing the leaderboard Check performance history for everyone in your class, use the percentage slider to calculate working weights, log results for clients, and engage with the daily leaderboard.
Managing appointments View your appointment schedule, check attendee details like unsigned waivers or past due invoices, sign clients in, handle no-shows, and book a client's next session.
Using Kiosk+ at the gym
Creating and saving a template Build a saved Kiosk+ template with the panels you use most so you can open the exact display you need at the start of every class.
Managing classes Use the results and workout panels together to display the workout, check clients in as they arrive, show announcements, and move between class times throughout the day.
Displaying the workout in the gym Set up a workout display on your gym's TVs, including multi-panel setups for showing a strength piece and a workout, or multiple levels of the same workout, side by side.
Viewing client performance and logging results Use the results panel to view performance history and log scores for today's programmed components, and the performance panel for anything not programmed in today's class.
Viewing and displaying the workout leaderboard Put the real-time daily leaderboard up on your gym's TVs to drive friendly competition, with options to sort, group by gender, auto-scroll, and interact with results.
Point of Sale
Selling retail products Check clients out through Point of Sale, handle product variants like sizes, apply store credit, promo codes, and discounts, process refunds, and use guest checkout for non-clients.
